Our first piece of mail! 6/15/13

Our first piece of mail came today titled: to "Caitlin jeck and Sam steinbrugge" we were very excited. It was a simple card from my mom wishing us the best with two $5 Starbucks gift cards. Thanks mom!

New place!

We finally were able to move into a new house together. It's more of an apartment, but we love it!

Chvrches!

This was last Tuesday, but I forgot to post. It was a fun time at the wonder ballroom with my sister and Caitlin.

Officially been together for two years! 6/1/13

Wow, two years together since we finally decided we really were in it to win it and started dating! I don't think either of us could be happier with our decisions of course :)

For our date, we went to our classically favorite "Ye Old Spag Fac" (Old Spaghetti Factory) and shared a bottle of delicious Zinfandel. Afterward, we met up with the rest of the Steinbrugge clan and went to Urban Farmer for some yummy dessert. Sam and I snuck away for a moment to steal a kiss on the rooftop bar, Departure :) A lovely night overall!

Maryhill winery!

This is our first stop as we drive to Yakima valley for the weekend. After we tasted 8 wines (which were all free) Caitlin bought a their 09 reserve Zinfandel which was fantastic. This is going to be a great weekend wine tasting with my parents. Happy memorial weekend!

We were on our way up to Portland and decided to stop at this amazing Mexican place that Caitlin absolutely loves. (Okay I love it too). An older man also came in while we were eating and was like a mariachi man. I don't know what it's called specifically but he had a guitar and sang some awesome stuff.

A stressful week.

Caitlin and I have both been having a stressful week. Caitlin was working in Salem and had to drive up to Woodburn to get blood re-drawn and when she went to her car it was dead! On top of that I have been working my butt off this week, it's been nuts. So today Caitlin and I decided to ride our bikes to get froyo and after we went to crush and had some delicious wine and a cheese platter.

Cinco de Mayo 5K

What a beautiful day for a 5K! It was a last minute decision to do this run. But both Caitlin and I had a lot of fun. Cait only came in a few minutes behind me. She's a fast runner!

4/27/13 bike ride

Had a great ride today with my dad. We rode 60 miles, and ended up in Brownsville which in near Eugene.

Smith Rock weekend

We had a fun little weekend at smith rock doing some climbing and camping with Caitlin, Chas, Mike, Claudia, Steven, and Becca. It was a really fun group and the weather was nice too. Enough so that we all got a little burnt.

Pre-Birthday drink

Yay! It's almost Caitlin's birthday and after a long day of work and school we decided to get some yummy Mexican food. And a giant Cadillac margarita!

I love you Sam

I think it's appropriate to include this as an adventure. And adventure in finding someone who understands me better than most people, who respects me and loves me for who i am and I the exact same to him. I feel so lucky to have found such an amazing man, and I can't wait for our journey together :)

Bouldering at Red Rocks!

Decided to do a little bouldering at red rocks with my new crash pad, courtesy of Caitlin! She also forgot her climbing shoes but has just as much fun watching and cheering me on.

We are in Vegas!

Caitlin flew down to Las Vegas for spring break weekend. It's been a blast. And it is sad that she has to leave to next day. Love you!

A night out (in Monmouth)

Where are Caitlin's eye balls?? Just kidding! After a week of hard work (more on Caitlin's part) we decided to go to hop and barrel for a beer or two then to the classic yeasty Beasty for even more beer. I love you Caitlin!

Random adventure/wine tasting 3/3/13

On this day Caitlin and I decided to go on a small adventure walk in the ankeny national wild like refuge. A very short walk only 2 miles. Then afterwards we made a quick stop at Willamette valley vineyards to taste some wine and soak up the sun. Over all a very fun day with my best friend!

Saturday morning breakfast

Sam made fun of me for forever about going to this place called 'Tin Shed' and I told him it was so good! Well we went together this last weekend and he stopped right then and there while he was drooling over the delicious food :)

Sam's 21st birthday!

We were both very excited for this birthday for Sam! We went out to one of our favorite breakfast places in Salem and Sam got his first drink...a yummy mimosa :)
